Once it starts to get chilly outside, this Fall Añejo Tequila Sour is perfect for sitting by the fire. Since this is a play on the Whiskey Sour, make sure to use a quality, additive-free Añejo Tequila for the best results. It won’t taste the same if you use a Blanco or Reposado Tequila. While it may sound unusual, I really enjoy making this drink with Aquafaba instead of Egg White—Aquafaba is actually just the leftover liquid from a can of chickpeas! I would have never thought to use it, but it's a great way to achieve the foam and keep the drink vegan, if that's your preference. Whether you decide to use Egg Whites or Aquafaba, it’s important to dry shake the ingredients first, before adding ice, to get the right foam layer.
